Services within the Centre are integrated and provide an atmosphere of cooperation among the health care service providers. The hospital is located at 904 Brightwell Street. The following services are offered out of the Health Centre:

Located right on main street, the visitor information centre has plenty of information to make your stay in Stewart and Hyder memorable.

The Visitor Information Centre also houses the Stewart/Hyder International Chamber of Commerce office. The purpose of the Chamber of Commerce is to promote Stewart as a great place to invest resources in existing and new business ventures and to inform our members of issues affecting the local regional economy and infrastructures.

The District of Stewart regulates Stewart's bylaws, roads, airport, landfill and many other community services.

Their offices are located at 705 Brightwell Street. You can contact them at 636-2251.

The Hyder Community Association houses their library, museum, school, forestry, fire department and other offices. To contact the association, please call 636-9148

The Stewart Community Library is located in the Stewart Senior Secondary School in space shared with the High School Library.

Hours of operation are Monday to Thursday 1:00 pm to 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and the phone number is 636-2380.

Internet access can be obtained through the Library.

The Stewart Museum was officially opened July 3, 1976. Built in 1910, the building was originally the Stewart Fire Hall and Government Office.

The museum is located at 603 Columbia Street. The hours of operation are May to June & September (weekends only) July to August (7 days per week) from 10:00 am - 6:00 PM and can be reached at 636-2568.

The Stewart Historical Society operates the Museum, which is open for the summer months only and can be reach at 636-2568.

Both Hyder and Stewart have their own post offices. Please note the post office in Hyder accepts only US dollars.

The Stewart post office is located at 5th and Brightwell Street.

The Hyder post office is located at uptown Hyder.

The Government Agent in Stewart is located at 703 Brightwell Street and their phone number is 636-2294. Some of the services the office provides is:

Voter Registration, Drivers Exams and Licenses, Fish and Wildlife Licenses, Medical Services Plan Inquiries and Payments, Mining Sub-Recorder, Provincial Payments, Rural Property Tax Payments, Searches - Company Lien and Land Title, General Inquiries.

There is only one full service banking institute for Stewart and Hyder. The CIBC bank is located on main street in Stewart.

The bank also has a bank machine for your convenience. The hours of operation are Mondays & Wednesdays from 12 noon to 3:00 PM and Fridays from 12 noon to 5:00 PM
